QUEER & QUIRKY EVENTS

Queer & Quirky Events is an events company based in Melbourne that puts on events to entertain and support the queer community. They asked Saturn Creative to design a logo for the company and brand extension. When designing a logo based on this queer and quirky concept we found the best approach was to play around with unique and characteristic type and graphical elements to create a whimsical effect. With the logo developed, Queer & Quirky's first event - Bent 'O' Box was in place and Saturn Creative designed the promotional material. The poster and postcard for this event have been designed in the style of a Japanese cuisine Bent 'O' Box - bold colours and a clever concept showcasing the performers on the night of the event in the familiar Japanese fast food packing. We love the chop sticks as well. The poster and postcards are currently being displayed around Melbourne and with the vibrant use of color, matched with an eye-catching concept - the event a must see in the queer community and tickets are selling fast.
